Jarret Patton MD aka “Doctor Jarret”

has served thousands of children in eastern Pennsylvania for over 15 years. Throughout his career as a pediatrician and Medical Director, he has remained a strong advocate for children’s health issues. Over time, his servant leadership style led him to curtail his clinical practice to become a change agent in the healthcare system. As a former Medical Staff President of an 8 hospital system in eastern Pennsylvania, he worked with other leaders to promote children’s health and health equity in a highly matrixed environment. Additionally, he has advised many regional and national committees for organizations including The Joint Commission, American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Hospital Association. Doctor Jarret is well published in the medical literature and has contributed to several books. His blog addresses relevant and often times looked over aspects in the healthcare system that is thought provoking and informative. His depth of knowledge coupled with his energy and charisma make him a highly DYNAMIC speaker for a variety of audiences. This is truly what makes him a highly requested national speaker. In addition to speaking, Doctor Jarret serves as a career restart coach for physicians and health professionals. He does this through his company, DoctorJarret, PLLC which is on a mission to educate, enlighten and improve healthcare. There is no shortage of education in Doctor Jarret’s background. He spent his post medical training in two fellowships in health disparities including the Disparities Leadership Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana and his medical doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at New York University and Bellevue Hospitals. Throughout his academic career he served on several teaching faculties including DeSales University, New York University, Pennsylvania State University and the University of South Florida.
